How we handle the information you send with an enquiry.

We supply business customers internationally; the sections below explain the position for visitors in the European Economic Area in particular, and we apply the same standards to enquiries from other regions.

A&K Worldwide Enterprises FZCO is established in the United Arab Emirates. Personal data submitted by visitors in the European Economic Area may be processed in the United Arab Emirates and by service providers in other countries. Where required, appropriate contractual and organisational safeguards should be used.

Part numbers, quantities and technical requirements may be shared with suppliers in order to price an enquiry. We do not sell personal data.

6b. The part selector

The parts you add to the enquiry list in the part selector are stored only in your own browser (local storage) until you submit an enquiry, send it by WhatsApp or clear the list. Nothing from that list reaches us before you send it.

7. Confidentiality of BOM files

Uploaded BOM files and component lists are used for quotation and commercial review. They should not be made publicly accessible and must be stored using restricted access.

Customers should avoid uploading information that is subject to export-control restrictions, national-security restrictions or third-party confidentiality obligations unless they are authorised to share it.

8. Retention

Enquiry and quotation records are retained only for as long as reasonably required for commercial follow-up, legal obligations, dispute prevention and business-record purposes. Records connected to a completed order are retained for the period required by applicable commercial, tax and customs law.

9. Your rights

Subject to the conditions of applicable data protection law, you may request:

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including transport encryption for the website, access restrictions on enquiry data and BOM files, and limiting access to personnel who need it to prepare a quotation or fulfil an order. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Children's privacy

This website addresses businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us so that it can be deleted.

12. Cookies

Cookies and similar technologies are described in our cookie policy. No analytics or advertising technologies are loaded before consent.

13. Automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling producing legal effects concerning you. Quotations are prepared by people.

This policy is updated when our processing changes. The version published on this page is the one that applies.
